The King of Hoops Foundation Charity Golf Tournament was a success having companies such as Jordan Brand, Emmerson, Tempest Telecom Solutions,Cellxion, Jazz 91.9 and XXL all participating helping to raise money for a great cause-The Dale Ellis Foundation and the National Exchange for Urban Leadership (NEUL).

The event was hosted by NBA Legend Dale Ellis with other noteable players such as Ira Newble former Atlanta Hawk, Marcus Haynes former Atlanta Falcon, Jazz 91.9 morning host Morris Baxter, and jazz saxophonist, Mike Phillips who currently has the No.1 jazz cd in the country MP3.
