King of Hoops is proud to announce the King of Hoops Hall of Fame.

We will start with the best players who have participated in this event- all being “Underground Legends”.

Andrew “SpongeBob” Washington –I have seen a lot of great players come through our event but hands down the BEST OF ALL TIMES is SpongeBob. He is truly a beast in every sense of the word. He loves to bait the opposition into trash talk which only elevates an already strong game. He is Mike Reckord’s all time favorite player.

Brandon Robinson-This Auburn product came up in 2005 and was tournament MVP on a team of Auburn Alumni that walked through the all the other teams in the event. After watching Brandon man-handle the competition he caused me to say, “This will never happen again at a King of Hoops event”. From that point forward we search the country only allowing the top men’s teams and players to compete.

Miles Thrash-A Mobil, AL small man with a big game. One of the few players to average more than 35 points a game at this event. He is a sniper from beyond the arch with a deadly turnaround jumper from the three point line. I have never seen anyone else hit this shot consistently. He is extremely fun to watch.

Tony Rice-This Midwest scorer is one of the craftiest ball players that have ever played in the King of Hoops. He is a fearless scorer that not only commands the ball in the clutch, but always finds a way to put it in the hole. He also runs annually the top tournament, The Midwest Shootout, in Ohio.

Octavias Thomas-Oct, as we call him, is an Atlanta basketball legend as named by Slam Magazine. He has been another player we have enjoyed watching destroy point guards over the years on both ends of the floor. He has great handlers with unbelievable count vision and an extremely high basketball IQ. He has played in the King of Hoops since 2002 and has been the best power forward for several years.

ALL NBA TEAM Players in the league that still play hard and have helped to increase the legend of King of Hoops.

Josh Smith- Atlanta Hawks

Jarrett Jack-Toronto Raptors

Rajon Rondo- Boston Celtics

Trenton Hassell- New Jersey Nets

J.J. Hickson- Cleveland Cavaliers

ALL NBA LEGENDS TEAM Players that have retired from the league and support the legend of King of Hoops.

Steve Smith

Dale Davis

Antonio Davis

Travis Best

Shandon Anderson

This is our way of saying “THANK YOU” from King of Hoops to all the great players who have graced our courts over the years.
